Hailing from Copenhagen Design Studio Strand and Haas, the Hergom Glance L is  the work of Christina Strand and Niels Hvass. These designers reply on  the Nordic design tradition: keep it simple and clean. That’s the reason the Glance L is deeply rooted in the Scandinavian culture. Simplicity  and well-balanced lines combine to make the Glance L truly stand our  from the norm. The innovative design of the Freestanding Glance L has  been recognised by the Hearth & Home Awards in 2018, and was the  winner of the Best Stove over 5kW.  

The smallest details of the Hergom Glance L wood burning fireplace are  designed to delight – like the 180° view of the flames from the channels carved from cast iron. Or the advanced double combustion system that  allows for a cleaner more efficient burn. In addition the built in cast  iron finishes guarantee a high-quality finish, high resilience, and  optional heat transfer. The distinctive aesthetics of the Hergom Glance L make it a contemporary focal point in any room. 

The Glance L is cast in Hergom’s own foundry in Santander Spain. This  allows them to control the entire production process of their  fireplaces. From the original design, right through to the casting,  Hergom uses the finest in raw materials and components.
